The Psychoanalytic Procedure

Classical Psychoanalysis is a process that for an observer appears to be exceptionally unimpressive. It consists in the patient letting free himself to produce free associations while he/she is lying on a couch and the analyst sitting next to him only intervening verbally from time to time. The frequency of psychoanalytic sessions varies from 3 to 6 weekly on steady days and time which always last for 50 minutes.
